Supporting someone in crisis
Risk Management Support
Helping Hanz Therapies offers tailored risk management support in Cumbria for parents, carers, and loved ones supporting individuals experiencing mental health crisis, including self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
This service provides practical, compassionate guidance to help families and support networks feel more confident in managing risk and maintaining safety at home. It is also a space for you to explore your own feelings and support you emotionally through a really challenging time.
Working collaboratively, we explore potential risks, identify early warning signs, and develop personalised strategies to support safety and wellbeing. This includes reviewing home environments and suggesting realistic adaptations to reduce risk and create a safer, more supportive space. This can be done virtually or face-to-face in your home.
